Hi there!

So I'm currently finishing my final high school year and while I didn't apply to NYU this year, as I decided I wanted to go after the deadline, I'm just wondering what are my chances of getting a good financial aid package? I understand that it's limited,

I'm moreso curious if you know anyone who was a Canadian student at NYU who got financial aid? I'm by no means wealthy or from a wealthy family, so I'm counting on some assistance.

I believe that I can use scholarships I've received in Canada for U.S schools, and my government will give me a very small amount in grants.

Would it make more sense to go to NYU for grad school?
At this point I've realized that NYC is the best place for what I want to do with my life, and NYU would open up doors to networking and getting to know the city, and it being my dream school is also a side note.

The companies and jobs I want, (working in communications, drama, or perhaps even business for certain companies, or an art based career) would definitely be easier in NYC as oppose to where I live.

How do you suggest a Canadian student study in New York City?

What makes an NYU applicant more "desirable", because I know that plays into how much FA you receive.
