Is it risky to not list to all colleges attended on app?

I imagine this is probably a bad idea, but I’ve heard stories from friends of people who applied not listing all colleges attended and never got caught. I’ve taken all my classes at the CC im applying out of, and one class from another CC. I didn’t do well in that one class from another CC, and my GPA would be higher if I don’t list that class. From research online I’ve seen that National Clearing House keeps data on every student based on your SSN. I didn’t plan on not listing that class, but the stories Ive been told are making me consider it? I should probably just list the class right?

There is a Clearing house which does have information of all colleges attended, so I would not take the risk. List all the colleges you have attended.

Not to us. We aren’t the ones who could be rejected, expelled, or have our degree rescinded for lying on an application.

Do you really think anyone on CC is going to tell students it’s okay to lie and cheat?

No risk at all… except if you want a job in banking, the federal government, even as a school teacher or a hospital or any other organization where they do a full background check (running your social security number) before hiring you. I watched a senior vice president get escorted from the building by security when he got caught in a lie on his resume.
