Is it rude/crazy for me to try this?

Ok so I go to a community college and have tried my HARDEST to get a great GPA and had a 3.85ish before I had to take my one and only remedial class, which was a math course. I took it over the summer so that I could go to statistics this semester. It was online and 8 weeks it was a HORRIBLE experience, but hey it's my fault for not taking it sooner in person and not as a 8 week course. I ended up getting a C in the class. I should be getting a B in my stats class. This pretty much killed my GPA and dreams of transferring to a top college and I don't even earn any of the credits for the class since it's intermediate algebra which sucks even more.

My question is would I look like a giant jerk for trying to get the grade removed from my record. I saw on here before some one suggest that the student try and get their one remedial class grade removed from their transcript...is that even possible? I mean my gpa without it would be 3.85ish instead of 3.71. Maybe if I tell them how I'm trying to transfer to a top tier school they'd take it off due to them having a student that transferred to a nice school, it would look good for them right?

I realize this sounds ridiculous but is this even a viable option/idea?

It’s not going to count anyway. The remedial class that is so don’t worry about it.

It does count on my transcript and lowers my gpa, the credits just don’t count.

I had the same thing. the remedial math course didn’t count… when you transfer they don’t put that in your GPA (school your transferring to).

Anyone else know?
