Is it too late to apply to be considered for scholarships?

Schools like Purdue, Georgia Tech, Ohio state? With good engineering programs.

GPA 3.94 act 35, ok ECs

Look on their websites. The application deadline dates will clearly be on them.

I remember you. You’re the mom with the child who is graduating early and the parents and child are in conflict about his apps…and you don’t want to full-pay because he’s been rude to you.

Did he get his apps into UWisc and UMinn?

I think it’s too late for Purdue…don’t know about the others. I doubt he’d get merit from GT. He has good stats, but unhooked males with very good stats are a dime a dozen at GT.

If it’s not too late for OSU, then he’ll probably get a nice award.

Many deadlines for scholarships were in early Dec or even Nov.

Thanks. He got in UWisc and U Minnesota. He asked me if he should apply for a few more schools.

With these stats he could have gotten nice merit at a number of good engineering schools, including U Alabama (deadline was Dec 15).

OSU’s deadline was Nov 1 I think. Not sure if that extends to engineering or not or if that was the deadline or priority deadline so I would still apply.

U Pitt and Temple still offer merit consideration until January 15 I believe.

Is he NMSF?

For Purdue, you need to apply EA to be eligible for merit aids.

Not sure about NNSF. He took his PSAT this October and he feels good about it. He has 8 classes this semester and is a little stressed out.

So he is a junior in high school but graduating early.
