I'm a high school senior that is worried. More than a little worried, actually.
I scored a 1900 on my SAT and was feeling pretty confident that I would do great on my ACT as well. It turns out that I didn't do so hot and received a composite score of 21.

I've looked on the ACT.org FAQ's and it's not clear to me whether or not score cancellation is possible at this point. Is there anything I can do to cancel sending my scores to my colleges? My family and I don't exactly have a lot of money (or time, for the matter) available on hand to be able to request for a rescoring.

If it's too late to cancel, how do you think this will affect my applications?
I'm a good student with solid grades -- I have a more rigorous schedule than most. I'm taking three AP's this year. I have a GPA of 3.9 and a lot of extracurriculars and leadership roles to back me up. (Senior class VP, and NHS President this year)

I know that it would definitely be quite the stretch to try to get into Rice University at this point. I was pretty lousy in planning out my standardized testing schedule. I haven't taken the two SAT subjects that are required and was going to use my ACT with writing to meet the requirement.
I'm also planning on applying to UT at Austin, Texas A&M, the University of Utah, and the U of Arizona.
