Is it too late to improve my grades? I want to go to the colleges or my dreams...

Is it too late to improve my grades?
Ok I'm a junior in HS. I always gotten A and B honor roll until my Junior year...I have a C in Chemistry honors for the first semester. In my freshman year, I got honor roll in all college prep classes, my overall GPA was 3.7. My sophomore year I had 1 honor class and averaged a 3.8 gpa for the year. Now my Junior year I'm in all honors but have a C in Chemistry, and my GPA is now 3.7...

My EC's are Key Club, NHS, Marching Band, VA Wind Ensemble, HS Wind Ensemble, Spanish Club, Tri-Musical Honor Society, 200 hours of community service, and I even held a job for 2 years.

I'm so disappointed in myself and feel as this is a huge setback in my grades. I just want grades good enough go to colleges like James Madison University or Virginia Tech.

what’s wrong with your local state u?

anyways, don’t worry…the worst thing you can do is be unhappy with whichever college you attend

improve your grades for the sake of improving them, not solely for college

JMU and VT are my state local colleges. I live in Virginia haha

I don’t think it’s too late. Just really buckle down this semester. You could pull that C up to a B by the end of the year if you tried. We don’t know your SAT scores but your other stuff looks fine. Are James Madison University and Virginia Tech the only schools you want to go to? Haha. Its refreshing not to see someone post a “OMG I got a C, will I get into Harvard?” thread.

Thanks, But i still stand a solid chance even with my credentials right?
