Is it too late to order a loft for dorm bed?

I have the information to order it and all from the site that housing recommends, but no one can tell me if it is too late to order for Saturday move in?
The Timbernest site doesn't answer their phone and housing doesn't know.
Can anyone out there give me any idea??
Thanks in advance. I am hoping that it's not too late, and that my Dad and I can put it together Saturday morning.

Have you tried calling the RH bookstore? Something on housing FB page made it sound like they are involved even though you order from Timbernest with code. They will not be on campus until Saturday so maybe there’s still time.

I ordered it really late freshman year. Let me check and see when I ordered.

My freshman year (2011), I ordered my loft on August 4 and Move-In Day was August 13. I’m pretty darn sure that I ordered it just about as late as you possibly could because I remember being concerned that it wouldn’t come in time.

You can still pick up a loft at Wal-Mart or Target or somewhere like that and it’s probably better quality.

But definitely call Housing and ask what the deadline is. And check Facebook. Some might be selling their lofts.

Last year we called as we were moving my son into his room after we found out his roommate was getting one. We went right away to pick it up - no problems with the late “order.”

Also, we never bought one, but looking at website you can cancel order in person on move-in day so I bet some become available when students realize they really don’t need them.

I second AUgirl about checking FB to see if anyone has one to sell.

Just FYI. Yesterday at move in for sorority rush I heard some parents talk about the fact that they had ordered a loft and it would not be available until next week. Not sure what that means but there was some sort of delay.
