Hi. I’m currently a sophomore that is homeschooled. My situation is very complex right now and I need help.
I finished my freshman year in America, but now I moved to Korea and I’m homeschooled.(I was in a regular public school until now.)
I’m trying to start self-studying for the ap tests, but I feel like I’m going to screw everything up. I’m gonna take ap bio, ap chem, ap environmental science, ap world history, and ap U.S. government this May. I’m starting them all just now.(Is this too late to start? 
Can you guys give me any tips to get a 5 on all of them? I took honors bio and did really well on it my freshman year. I didn’t take chem, but my mom’s a chem teacher in Korea so I guess she can cover the subject for me?
Is it possible to start studying now and get a 5 on all of these? I got all the textbooks and Princeton review books for them.
AP Environmental and AP US Government are the easiest of the group. I self-studied AP Gov the day before the test last year and got a 5, so a late start to these tests may not be as damaging.
However, AP Bio, AP Chem, and AP World are more difficult tests, Considering that you took Honors Bio, AP Bio shouldn’t be as hard for you since it’s mostly memorization. But you should start AP Chem and AP World now, especially AP Chem (since it’s the hardest to do with the least time). For AP World, you should learn how to write the essay.
And yes, it’s possible to get all 5s if you put in the time and effort to study. Princeton Review is great for self-studying and last-minute cramming. Hopefully this helps!
Start cramming AP Bio now. If you have the Campbell textbook, then go chapter by chapter taken notes. The chapter about Cell Communication is especially important. Also watch Crash Course Biology. Crash Course Biology is probably the only Crash Course series in which I could say that it helped me on the AP exam. I’m not sure what AP World Hist textbook you have, but do one or two chapters every week. Hopefully you can get to the World Wars, Communism/USSR/Cold War, and Global South chapters by mid-April. AP Enviro and AP Gov are relievers. You could take them slower than the others but don’t slack off.
AP Chem might be the most difficult to recommend since it is mostly problem-based rather than content-based. If you have the Zumdahl book, then read chapter by chapter but go slowly so that you can understand how to do the problems. Then, do practice problems at the end of each chapter and check the back of the book or Slader for answers. Remember to take a lot of practice tests since they help!
