Is it too late to start?

First off, let me tell you about little bit of my background.
I am an international student. I currently go to local community college.
I just started going to school first time ever.

I've never thought seriously about Architecture major. More I do research about this major, it seems well suited to me.( I was thinking about science major).
Here's my dilemma... It seems like I am too late to start. I don't really know anything about architecture and I've seen people who spent all four years of their high school year preparing for portfolio, etc. I am even thinking about going to portfolio school if it's not too late (such as vision 21 etc.)

Please feel free to tell me. I just want to know your opinion.

No, it’s not too late. If you haven’t done anything to develop for a portfolio then concentrate on the schools which look at grades and SAT’s and don’t require a portfolio. There are a lot of good schools that fit that description. But don’t waste any more time, get going.
