I looked at the PDF just now, and it seems like the need the school's signature and that stuff, which means I must meet with a counselor first thing on Monday or can I get the "School's" signature directly by asking admissions office?

Well, it would be better to do electronically, but how would I approach that?

Fafsa (by March 2) + Gpa verification (by March 3)= cal grant…
Assuming that you already submitted your Fafsa, the only thing thats left is your gpa verification. Many cc, like SMC, submit GPA electronically for students. I checked online at Webgrants For Students and it stated that my GPA had already been sent. I think you should visit your school’s admissions office to see if they already submitted the gpa verification, and/or ask for further guidance in order to get it in by the deadline March 3, 2014.

Doesn’t it depend on weather or not you are getting your Cal Grant renewed though?
When I logged onto my account it said:
“Grade Point Average (GPA) Verification - Not required for renewal students”

@Anthroflo - You are correct GPA verification only needs to be submitted if you have not previously been awarded a Cal Grant, which many have not.

So if you have one already you just need to update your school when possible AND submit a FAFSA.

But if you don’t already have a cal Grant then make sure the GPA verification is submitted by March 3rd (the extended date) at the latest.

Ok, it looks like my GPA has been submitted (as I see my latest GPA on there)

The FAFSA however hasn’t been received by the Cal Grant system, but I submitted it last night. So am I in the clear? I guess once the FAFSA has been processed, then it will be check marked on the website.

It’s official…I went into the registration office today to fill out paperwork for something else when I overheard a girl go in and request to have her GPA sent to CSAC today via the paper GPA verification form, because the CSAC said the deadline was extended until today, but they refused to do it because they said they stopped accepting GPA verification requests on Friday.

Well that sucks and I guess deadlines and rules don’t really matter

@bhav007 - That’s if it was already previously submitted if you wanted it sent out on the 3rd they wouldn’t have abided by the CSAC extending the deadline.
