Is it true some people got accepted to UCLA already?

I hope its not some sort of April fools joke cause its really NOT funny!
I read something online that some people already got accepted to UCLA because of the budget cut.

Is this true? I thought you hear from them towards the end of April.

that is for freshmen. transfers…well, you guys still have to wait a while. sorry =/

“some people got accepted because of the budget cut”…I have no idea how these two concepts are related.

I read a thread that beacuase of the budget cut, UCLA is minimizing their decision. As a result, less people=less time.

That also makes little sense. I’ve read in several places that transfer admissions rates won’t be affected by budget cuts. No transfer decisions have been posted yet.

i got accepted.

jk
steer clear of collegeconfidential to avoid panic attacks.
just wait… :D

lol today i realized i am zen about this whole UCLA/CAL thing.

UCSD and UCSB are not that bad, i am finally transferring.

i am cool about it…at least for today.

maybe they’ve been hinted with admission decisions via open house letters and applications for the regent scholarship.

but witht he budget cuts, it’s going to affect freshman admissions not transfer admissions according to my advisor. they’re actually letting in more transfer students because it saves them more money (has to deal with retention rates and all that).
