<p>i just took the self-assessment test from barron's critical reading workbook.and i got a low score :< am i going to score higher on the actual test probably.cuz i heard that barron is usually harder....</p>
<p>Yeah you'll score higher. They make that test harder probably so you'll get a low score and be more desperate to use their book. That's not a real collegeboard test so you can't say that is your true score.</p>
<p>Well, I took a couple of SATs from Barrons before my SAT in March... and I MOST DEFINITELY found the real thing easier. But I laud Barrons for making the tests harder! I felt so relieved on the test day... because it felt like a breeze compared to all the practice tests I had been taking.</p>
<p>That may be well and good however for some it may actually disrupt your progress in the real test because it may be structured so differently. Safest bet is to take recent year SAT/PSAT, Collegeboard book and online prep.</p>
