I don’t think it’s too weird if a guy has one little stuffed animal from his gf. Other guys might ask him why it’s there and might even give him crap for a minute or two but it’ll be in a joking matter, and i highly doubt it would really impact his social life.

I would rather give my bf a picture of us in a cute frame rather than a little stuffed toy. That way he wouldn’t really have to explain why he has a stuffed animal in his room and i rather have my bf see my face everyday rather than a stuffed animal.

I have 3 tiny little plushies I like to cuddle at night but then again I’m a fruit, I don’t really care as long as nobody tries to steal/destroy them. They’re precious to me.

If it’s given by a girlfriend, it’s totally understandable. And if it’s not, who cares? My roommate last year had a small stuffed animal that was his, so what does that change about him? If you think it’s childish to have a stuffed animal, I think it’s way more childish to scrutinize somebody by it. Generally though, I would say don’t display them to avoid other people’s crap about it, but there’s nothing wrong with it otherwise.

I have a bear and ive had it forever and it sleeps with me and if i go to college im taking it with me, its kind of like a pillow too. And i’m not going to be able to hide it cause its as big as i am. I mainly sleep with it cause my cat will sleep on my pillow if i don’t have it on my bed.

I have a stuffed bear maybe 18 inches long that I received from my grandparents as a toddler. He was my best friend in the formative years, and he won’t be relegated to the closet.

I just found out that you have to worry about your stuff getting stolen in college, so if i have to live in a dorm, im going to get a new one and leave my bear at home.

My roommate has two tiny stuffed dogs in the bed.
He also lost (as in died in auto accident) a close friend in high school-- I wouldn’t think twice to say anything obnoxious about his or anyone’s personal belongings-- what do I know about where or who gave them those dogs.

Stuffed animals sometimes hold really important memories-- given by parents or grandparents who are no longer around.

My mom asked if I was taking my favorite stuffed animal (which is actually in a drawer and has been for years)…I told her it would be safer at home – I sort of figured there would be some jock jerk who might have done something stupid to my favorite stuffed fox that I cherished from my childhood.

I wouldn’t think too much of it. However, I’m gay and pay very little attention to guys, but in an objective sense I don’t think it’s really all that weird.

My fiance has a stuffed animal that I got him on display in his room lol. I bought a stuffed animal from some charity event and gave it to him before I left for Costa Rica. Iggy is still proudly displayed in my fiance’s room. Never had an issue with it far as I can tell.
