I know the deadline has passed. I ended up applying to 5 schools and got rejected from one (MY TOP CHOICE) and wait listed from another, but accepted to the rest. I wasn't super familiar with all the boarding schools and after I got my rejection letter I was like desperately searching to see if there was another school that could possibly compare to my top choice and yes, there are like a million schools just like it :( I really wish I had looked into more schools instead of really looking into a few schools. I have all my application material together I'm wondering if you think a school would give me the time of day and just review my application and tell me yes or no maybe? Even since I applied to those schools I've added about 6 more things to my resume and won a few awards that I guess came a little too late. Do you think the school would give me a chance? I know if my parent were to call and say are you stil accepting applications they would say no but is there a way I can present as I would just like them to give me a little consideration?

Thanks

I am wondering why you want to apply to more schools if you have a choice of three that you have already been accepted to?
There are schools with rolling admissions that are still accepting applications. If you are a full pay applicant, there may be a chance of getting accepted at this point. I do not have personal experience to know how slim that is. If you require FA, I would imagine all the money has been allotted to new admits and those waiting on WL’s would be next to receive if some becomes available.

No, it’s not worth a shot, and you should just enroll in one of the three schools to which you have been accepted.

You can apply to schools with rolling admissions. You can attend a school in your current location. You can apply to whichever schools you like during the next admission cycle. You can attend one of the schools that accepted you. I suggest attending the revisit days. You may find yourself pleasantly surprised.

Perhaps you can discuss this with your parents and find out what they think would be in your best interest.

Good luck!

As mentioned before, you can apply to schools with rolling admissions or, if you would be a full pay applicant, you can contact some admissions offices and see if they happen to have any space. I, personally, would just go with one of the three you were accepted to; attend their visit back days, you might end up really liking one of them.
