<p>It is not worth getting cable tv.</p>
<p>that depends upon a number of factors. For a freshman in a North Campus dorm, I'd advise against it unless that student plans on watching a LOT of TV. In truth though, no study really should watch that much TV his/her freshman year, so I'd say, probably no.</p>
<p>for upper-classmen off campus, it is very much worth it in some cases, where a large TV can be put into a common room, or a cable signal can be shared amongst 3 or more people.</p>
<p>Unless you need to watch something religiously, no.</p>
