Could someone explain how? Is it possible? I think that spending 3 1/2 years without TV is like being in prison. Please help and clarify. Is it usually paid among your roomates?

if you’re on campus, you just bring a cable and tv and hook it up. nothing extra to pay.

but… IMO, you’re gonna be so busy you’ll barely have time to watch any shows exactly when their on. most people I know just stream/download whatever they want to watch whenever they have time to watch it.

yeah, not many people end up using the cable for anything but live sports. all dorms have cable though.

i don’t have a tv and haven’t since june. everything i want to watch is on hulu and most of the time i am out doing stuff. people wo do have tvs are most often gamers and what not.

Do what I did, get a TV tuner for your computer, so then you can watch tv on there. That way you dont have to bring a tv in addition to your other stuff. And basic cable is provided for each side of your room, Lazman. You can upgrade your side and get digital cable by paying like 15 bucks a month. But I wouldn’t recommend that… you’ll find that you won’t be watching tv near as much when you get up there.
