Is it worth self-studying AP Human Geography?

I was thinking of doing that next year, but I'm not sure if I should. I know a lot of places don't even count AP human for credit...will it even look good to colleges?
I'm not that worried about level of difficulty, but if it's not worth my time, I dont want to do it.
Thank you for any feedback.

If you don’t want to do it, why would you self-study it? Only self-study things you’re interested in otherwise you’ll become bored and hate everything about it.

I think the subject is interesting, but I know there’s going to be a lot of reading, so I don’t want to do extra work if it doesn’t matter or count to most colleges…
If it does matter or count, then it would be worth taking and I wouldn’t be taking up my time to study for OTHER subjects for no reason.
Does that make sense?
I guess what I’m trying to ask is : Does self-studying an AP look good even to colleges that don’t count that AP for an AP credit?

It’s pretty well known that the human geo AP exam is the easiest so if you are going to take the time to self study you might want to consider taking something more worth your time that would give you credit and look a lot better effort wise if that makes sense

Oh thanks :]
What would you suggest? I’m going to be a sophomore next year, and will be doing this through directed study so my options are a bit limited.
PS. I have already taken us gov, and will be taking world and stats next year

Lol a fellow freshman.

I see that you replied to some chance threads.
You think that girl has a good shot at MIT?
LOLZ.

Science and math strong?

Math strong=Calculus BC in 9th grade.

Well no need to be mean about it :stuck_out_tongue:
I think he/she has a decent chance, with all the ec’s and stuff.
The downside is pretty much just the easiness of freshmen and sophomore classes.
I know a kid who’s taking calc BC and stats iin 9th.
He’s cocky just like you :D

I may have missed it, but math strong also = USAMO.

How have I ever implied that I was cocky?

I do see the large amounts of subpar leadership positions though.

Quality over quantity still stands lol.

i’m self-studying it this year. the questions/course seem easy, im doing it along with envi sci plus my other 5 ap classes. go for it =) colleges appreciate that you’re self motivated and bothered to do something on your own.
