Is it wrong for a man(18+) to think of a younger girl as pretty?

As in a 4 friends and myself went to see "The Happening" which stars a young girl named Ashlyn Sanchez. After the Movie one guy had mentioned that she was incredibly pretty and she would be one hell of a looker when she matured. But buy saying and noticing that she was pretty, he must have been attracted to her, but not in a sexual way. Is it possible not to recognize if a girl is good looking, or is it certain that most will do so?. Because she is very young should the thought never enter a persons mind, but then you have to think about Beauty contests for younger girls and how they are judged.

What do you guys think, I Know its a tough topic. Please be serious.

It’s basically human instinct to acknowledge good features and proportions, even if the person is premature. So no, there’s nothing wrong with it unless there’s a sexual attraction is there. I actually thought the same thing (that she’s going to be a knockout when she’s older).

How do you think that they pick kids for these parts? The director knows that a kid’s good looking and knows that pretty much everyone else will agree. There are ugly kids and good looking kids, just like there are ugly and good looking adults.

The Girl in the movie is 10 or 11 I think. which is why I was concerned.

I am simply asking as there seems to be a craze in society today that every guy is a pedophile. I mean in most non industrialized nations, girls are ready to go and have kids at 11 or 12.

Well, take it from this perspective. If you’re a straight guy, you can probably acknowledge that another guy is good looking or ugly, without any sexual attraction involved. It’s the same mentality when judging young kinds.

I think that Colin Farrell is a good looking guy, but that’s just a simple acknowledgment of good looks. There’s really no reason for your to be concerned for the guy.

It’s natural for men, even older ones, to be attracted to girls who have just gone through puberty. I wouldn’t call a guy a dirty old man for simply finding such a girl pretty; I would think he was a creep if he acted on it. Even I can tell when young girls are going to grow up into beautiful women.

Well, I don’t think you are a pedo at all…
Even if you have sexual attraction towards them, it is still normal as long as you don’t force them to do the things you’ve fancied them to do.

I don’t think it is wrong when a man get an erection from a 10-11 year old as long as he doesn’t put his thoughts into actions.
It is just different kind of attraction. According to your logic, I argue it is wrong to see woman wearing stocking and other sexually fetishalbe stuff.
I think sexual fetishism is perfectly natural, and should not be punished as long as the person is willing to keep his hands off.
Leading a ten year old astray is surely illegal because it involves in the imposing of one’s personal preference upon another vulnerable individual, but the mere thought of it should not be blamed at all.

Why do people deny sexual attraction when in fact the first things they noticed about e a girl is her boob, her face, and her hip?
I think people who deny it are hypocrites. They just need a reason for their own sexual fetishism, which for me, consists the utmost evil, lying for the sake of pleasuring.

I never said that it should be punished. But I think that it’s pretty perverted for a grown man to get an erection over a 10 year old. You can disagree with me if you want and try to justify it by stating how natural all sorts of fetishes are, but I still think that it’s bizarre. Maybe wrong isn’t the right word, since I don’t have any right to decide what right and wrong is, but I definitely think that it’s weird and I’d never want to be friends with someone like that (not like I’d ever know about it). I just don’t think that young kids should be viewed sexually, at least not by adults.

And that’s a pretty bad analogy, by the way.
