hey, im planning on joining cross-country junior yr and continue senior yr. I am joining it so late because ive never really been fit enough to join. Will colleges think that im just doing it for the credit?

Don't worry about that. If you want to join, join.

Nah I'm doing that too. If you practice and can show the effort by winning something, that looks even better. But I've ran before & I'm practicing now..so I have had some practice.

btw would colleges rather see 2 years of track or 1 year of track and 1 yr of varsity tennis?

bump.......

actually, a Canadian olympian (forget the name, it was the one who fell on the hurdles in the Athens Olympics) started hurdling only when she was in 11th grade. It pays to give it your best!

oh yeah, btw, do colleges really care about stuff like going to tennis tournaments, even if they're just small local ones? cuz due to a stupid technicality, im not able to join the team :( im just figuring a way to salvage all the $$ and effort ive put into tennis for the past couple of years :(

bump bump bump
