I bought Kaplan & real sat and solved some science problems in kaplan.
it was soooo hard. so i wonder if this questions are accurate picture of real thing. DUDE it was so complicated

oh and what about kaplan reading?

kaplan's science is alright.. not the best

kaplan's reading is excellent... its passages are longer, and it really helps you on timing.. the questions are also really good too... kaplan helped my reading jump from a 25, 21, 23 (first 3 ACTs) to a 32 and 34 (last 2 ACTs)... so kaplan's reading really worked for me

what do you mean by alright, not the best? is it hard/okay/easy? since it was so difficult to me.. i'm so worried about it

kaplan's science is a little harder, but i don't think the questions are exactly the right questions (like, they aren't all typical questions i'd see on the real ACT)

I agree with peytoncline
I just finished their online ACT practice test

reading passages were definitely longer than what I've been used to and the science section seemed harder...and I'm pretty sure at least one answer choice couldn't be inferred from the graphs

yeah, but kaplan's reading is well worth it because of the length of all of the passages -- it should help with timing issues (if you have such issues)

i just want to say, i was going over a kaplan science section, and it had wrong answers/ bad questions. ****ed me off!

The same thing has happened to me, it was extremely hard. I gave up on it.

wow i had the same problem and i thot i was just rusty in the summer… i felt like an idiot

I didn’t like the science in the kaplan book either, too hard. I agree with the previous poster.
Tried prepping with the book, but the PR book was better.
