<p>We all know that WC is not a federal service academy...but I'm told "leadership" is an important factor in admissions decisions.</p>
<p>What was your high school leadership experience? Just wondering.</p>
<p>I can't say I had tons of leadership...I did "Link Crew" for two years at my school, which just meant getting involved with the incoming sophs (my hs was 10 to 12) and introducing them to the school. I did Key Club, kind of...</p>
<p>If you don't have tons of leadership activities, don't worry. As long as you have another focus to your application, it's not necessary to be the president of 8 clubs.</p>
<p>I was treasurer of a couple of organizations in high school, and received my Girl Scout Gold award (for the world's most non-leadership project ever, but you allegedly are a leader if you do your Girl Scout Gold).</p>
<p>OK I get the picture...this shouldn't be a big issue for SAF. She is in a few clubs and I could see her in a leadership spot by senior year. Thanks as usual to cs and wm.</p>
