Is major an admissions factor?

haha... exactly!

As for undecided... because certain majors are more competitive than others, couldn't people just put undecided (if it's easier to get in that way) and then switch to a popular major? Same goes for changing majors.

eh, I'm really scared now. I put humanbio and international relations, although my extracurricular activities are all based on church. I don't have research, or speech&debate, or anything that correlates with the majors I chose!!!

Should I be freaking out!

No...................

no don't freak out... it's not a deduction...
it's only an added factor if the two are correlated

wow I just got everyone worried with what I said about majors and ECs matching up. lol.

ha, better hope you know what you're talking about.
otherwise...

man, I'm gullible

lol i wanna minor in spanish, and i have no spanish ec's except spanish club (a member) for one year. i dont think ill put that down.

seriously, is it a good idea to put something down or can we just say we are undecided? i doubt they will reject/accept me because i dont have anything down, but i still wanna know. thanks all!

Yeah, sadly, our school doesn't have AcaDec. We have something else like it, and last year I got to study ancient civs, but this year it's all industrial age stuff :(

ya, chochocho, i put IR and Econ, but a lot of my time this summer was spent in a laboratory... try explaining that one. haha.
