What do the admission for this major focus on? GPA or just English grades or SAT? Is there a section of SAT that the admission primarily focus on?

Admission to McGill is numbers based. If you are American, there are minimum UW GPA and SAT/ACT requirements that are published on the McGill website.

Different faculties have different SAT/ACT/AP/IB minimums for admission. Getting a score above the minimum doesn’t necessarily guarantee admission, but it greatly boosts your chances.

Is this grading scale used for applying or just for undergraduate?

@xiaozhoumi This scale is used for undergraduates studying in McGill.

Different high schools use different grading scales so for applying you may have to send your school’s grading scale along with your grade.

so we use our school’s grading scale to apply not the college’s grading scale?

You submit the grades that your high school gave along with the appropriate conversion scale (if requested).
