and if it is... Is there a huge advantage to hold canadian citizenship?

I don't know what you mean by "rolling" but I know they have 2 rounds of admission decisions. The first one is for early acceptances the other is just regular acceptance. The date on which you'll receive a decision depends on where you live. Check the website. If you hold a Canadian citizenship, it will be considerably cheaper for you to attend since the fees are lowered for Canadian students (even more so for Quebecois students). I don't know if the expectations are higher or not for foreign students...check with McGill.

sort of like a 1st come, 1st serve policy. Should I expect a quick response from admissions?

It depends on what you mean by quick.

I applied in September and got a response in January.

Tasnia, he rolling means that if they read your app and like it, they accept you right away, rather than waiting till they read all apps, then comparing them to eachother, and then chosing who to accept.
Generally rolling admissions are better for some of the slightly lesser qualified applicants because they accept you for what you have specifically done, rather than compare you to what the group of applicants has done. I think rolling admissions are great because they can slightly raise chances for acceptance at great schools.

As for that, im pretty sure it is. Ill check right now.
