Well, one of my friend is having really difficult time about transfering

He's been going to several 2-yrs community colleges and trying to transfer to UC or CAL

His GPA is overall 3.67

but the problem is that He went to his third community college as freshman so that he
can start as freshman.

He was having really bad grade and his GPA went down real bad (I don't know the exact GPA) so he lied to his third community college and went there as freshman.

He thought he could start as new student and transfer to 4-yrs college.

Now that he is really regretting about his decision

anyways, what's the chance that he could transfer to 4-yrs college not getting caught?

or any suggestion.

My friend and I are going to see the counselor together as soon as he makes up his mind.

^ Yeah the OP wouldn’t want his/her reputation ruined anonymously online haha!

^^^ To the OP, DON’T have your friend apply without revealing his/her previous schools. If they find out he/she concealed information in their application not only will they be denied admittance but it will be considered “academic fraud.” The result of which will be a “black listing,” meaning he/she will be permanently denied admittance to any UC and possibly CSU forever. Even if they are admitted if the school finds out anytime afterward that you lied on your app, and this does happen, they can and will expel you from the school or repeal your degree if you have already graduated. Just not worth it friend…

As long as he didn’t apply for Financial Aid he probably won’t get caught. I should say that this boad is gonna tell you to be honest and I agree. The decision is ultimate yours, I mean your friends lol

Your SS number doesn’t change so you can conceal from CC but once they look up your social security number it’s over. Don’t do it your only asking for trouble list all your other schools and grades and just take the consequences
