i'm also planning on auditioning or sending a tape to every school (i chose not to just major in music, but my violin teacher thinks i could get into Julliard rather easily)</p>

<p>i teach less privileged children two hours a week violin (have been since Sophomore year) and have also volunteered at nursing homes and benefit concerts. I'm a really strong writer (I've started a book... we'll see how it goes :( hahaha) yet i slacked a bit frosh and soph years. The teachers I'm getting recsfrom have a reputation for being amazing rec writers, and I'm planning on getting lessons from professors at colleges I audition at to familiarize myself with the schools/professors and get calls of recommendation to Admissions)</p>
