So I’m a Sophomore, and I was wondering if my schedule is looking good. I haven’t taken any AP classes this year or my freshman year, but all my classes were/are Honors. The reason for this is because I am uninterested in social sciences and Chemistry. Junior year is around the corner, and I’m planning on taking AP Stats and AP Computer Science A, along with my Honors Pre-Calc class. I’m probably going to be taking AP Calculus in my senior year, but I haven’t given much thought about my senior year.
Good enough for what?
Graduating high school - yes.
Guaranteeing early admission to Caltech as a Theoretical Physics major - probably not.
In between - it’s completely dependent on your goals, the opportunities your school affords you, and many other things.
If you’re doing well in courses that are challenging you, in areas of study that you enjoy, then you’re probably doing well.
