Is my topic ok?

<p>Hi, i wrote my essay for the prompt: Choose an issue of importance to you—the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope—and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.</p>

<p>I chose the topic of integrity and how our schools(cheating students), political figures, etc. are lacking this. Do you guys think this is an ok topic? I got a lot of criticism from a few friends saying that its not a real issue.</p>

<p>I have the same question. Your topic is debatable and there are two sides but I don’t know if it is considered an “issue”</p>

<p>I am thinking about writing about our generations increasing dependence on the internet and how it is good/bad. What do you think?</p>
