Is no news, bad news?

That’s what it means. ;D
Our Brown group hasn’t gotten much activity, har-de-har.

I haven’t seen any decisions from a state higher than Ohio yet. So I wouldn’t get too worried unless nothing comes on Monday.

I got an acceptance today in NY.

I’m from dallas too and didn’t get it. when i saw in the other thread that a kid from arlington got the packet, i’m 99.9% positive i didn’t get in. :frowning: this sucks.

I’m from Maine. No news. None of my friends have heard either.

Bad news? or simply LONG distance?

I’m just as pessmistic as I was before, but now I’m more nervous because if we definitely don’t get anything Monday, then all hope is lost.

Yeah, I’d call Monday a pretty fate determining day. 3 days seems like the norm for priority mail.

were the ones today EDII deferrals? if those even exist…lol

I don’t think they defer EDII applicants. I’m pretty sure they just accept or reject them.

Hilsa - totally agree… i know i got rejected. But hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

ah then the EDII acceptances ?

i don’t think so
i mean, the postage is USPS which isn’t known for it’s amazing reliability. i’d suggest you wait it out until Monday until you got really concerned. maybe your mail didn’t get processed quick enough.

Hilsa - After I got my acceptance package the first thing I wanted to know was if you got in. Sorry you are still waiting - I am sooo hoping for the best for you and all of the others still waiting. I see you are waiting on Wake and Emory as well, as am I! Whatever school you get in I know it will become “your” school and they will be lucky to have you! Hang in there - please let us know. I’m sending good karma your way!!!

I thought if we didn’t find out by saturday, we were probably waitlisted/rejected(still hope for monday)…I will probably get my rejection on a thursday/friday…

I’ve been reading these threads for ages and i actually just joined to post this. You kids need to chill. My daughter received no packet yesterday but 3 of her friends did. One was accepted, one was rejected, and one was waitlisted so there is obviously no pattern. One even lives in the same zip code. Obviously, some carriers sorter their mail earlier than others so some were delivered on Saturday and some will be on Monday. There is absolutely no method to this madness.

This reminds me of my eleventh birthday. The whole day I waited faithfully for that stupid owl with my letter to Hogwarts… and then the whole next day I cried about it.

I mean, I was a messed up little kid. But still. ^.^

Well, theredsmileyface, atleast we know who the über nerd is on this board. ;)

jk.

I’m the one who wears a Simba shirt almost every week.

I win at being lame. =]

Guys! Today is going to slowly!!! GAAAHHHH!!! I’m going to get in a car crash coming home from school tomorrow after being so anxious of coming home and checking the mail.

i told my mom to txt me when i get something, but i might get home b4 she actually figures out how lol

I’m in California. Only one person that I know of here got anything from Vanderbilt yesterday and it was a rejection… the rest haven’t heard.

^^^ woah, the rejection got to cali that fast, I thought rejections were standard mail…man I am so anxioius…just waiting for 3 more schools before its off to my local state schooll…
