Colleges: I know your stats. They’re great! I wouldn’t be worried. You have like a 1500 and a 3.8. 1500 > 32 (me).

Oh my god you guys. Tomorrow will be THE day.

I’ve never been so scared in my life.

Oh my god you guys. Tomorrow will be THE day.

I’ve never been so scared in my life.

Tomorrow is definately becoming more significant than ivy league decision day on tuesday.

Hahaha. You silly kids who applied to the Ivy League. =P

@Hilsa, thanks for the encouragement, but a 32 and being top 10 percent is a bigger accomplishment than a 1500 and a top 20 percent…good luck and I hope you get into Vandy…

Fine. We’re even then. ;)

But we’ll find out who actually wins (or if we’re even) tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

I don’t know if this helps but I found out I was accepted a month ago from that mosaic thing and I still haven’t gotten anything yet.

Where do you live?

If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, sorry, but no one cares. ;)

I’m in Illinois.

I’m gonna add a haha to my post. I think it sounds kinda rude right now.

Interesting, since I know Chicago people got their Vandy mail.

WHY IS THE POST OFFICE SO INCONSISTENT?

I have no idea

Yeah, it kinda messes with your mind. The mail is flown to cities and then trickles out from there, so people who are geographically further from Nashville can still get the mail before the closer people. And then you hear about all the people in your state who have gotten mail, but you still haven’t. Ahh, isn’t the waiting game fun?

Yep, its absolutely awesome

OMG!!! It’s MONDAY. dkfgjsh kdfjg kdf gkjdf kdfjg sdkfjg dkfjg dkfjgh dfkg

I got my acceptance letter in B’ham, Alabama today. I really was never considering Vanderbilt as a possibility but they gave me a pretty nice package. I had my mind set on Tulane but Vanderbilt is pretty serious business - I’ll have to do some more thinking. I notice you post like crazy on this board Hilsa, I hope tomorrow goes well for you. :)

I do post like crazy, probably too much. :)

But it’s because I want this so bad. I know I have a shot of getting in (my scores are in range and everything) but also have just as likely a shot of not getting in. It’s waitlist or admit, and I don’t know which one. This limbo is killing me.

Atleast it will be over tomorrow. Unless I get waitlisted. Hahaha…heh.

Good night!

My next post will be my decision.

based on what happened to applicants from my high school, last year rejections and waitlist offers came out a day or two after acceptances. for y’alls sake i hope it’s different, but i specifically remember that people who got in got fat envelopes on thursday or friday, and then everyone else got skinny envelopes on monday.

Today’s the day!

After this weekend and reading all the stats of those accepted, I’m much less optimistic that I have a chance of getting in. I mean, the scores and EC’s of those accepted were awesome. I’m nowhere near that stellar.

Guh. My poor nerves. D:

I’ve also made peace with myself and will be able to take a rejection without feeling too bad. I tried and it was worth the effort. If they can’t see what I have to offer then perhaps its best I go to a school that did see my unique characteristics positively.

Besides, when I visited last August it was something like 103 or 104 degrees. I almost melted.
