Is Nova a match or reach school for me?

Hi all, I am looking at Villanova as a possible school. I can provide more information if needed, just ask!

I would say based on your grades slight reach for you.

The average GPA at Nova is 3.87.

If you up your ACT slightly or get around 1330+ on your SAT - this might balance out your overall application to make up for grades being lower than Nova’s average.

But overall you should get into a good school in general.

Will applying EA help my case? If I don’t get in through EA will it hurt my RD chances? How do they weight demonstrated interest? Nova is in my top 3 choices, I really would like it as an option!

You should apply EA as you have a good chance of getting in that way. That will also make you more relaxed if you get accepted as it is one of your top 3 schools. Good luck - Londondad

When you say Nova’s average GPA is 3.87 is that weighted or unweighted? @villanovarising
