Is NU relatively safe for me?

GPA: 3.97 unweighted, 4.83 weighted
3rd in class
SAT: 700 Math, 730 Reading, 770 Writing
Will have 9 AP classes by graduation
SAT II: 710 Spanish, 740 U.S. History
ECS: Environmental Club (10, 11 Secretary, 12 President); Spanish Honor Society (10, 11, 12); very active in church youth group, myriad community service hours because of it; Writing Center Tutor/Consultant (11, 12)
Other crap: National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, National Merit Semi-Finalist, have been published in Orlando Sentinel</p>

<p>I want to do Journalism and/or Environmental Studies.</p>

<p>I'm sorry if this is a really stupid thread. Are my chances of getting in pretty good?</p>

<p>You should get in and will probably qualify for the honors program and some merit money. My son is a current honors student with merit money in his sophomore year. PM me if you have specific questions.</p>
