Basically it boils down to three schools...
USC Marshall with full tuition
Chicago Econ with 14k grant
NYU stern with 7k grant

So...which school should I choose?

Are you more interested in finance/business/Economics or just straight up econ with literature, history, etc?

Stern is the more business oriented with very focused classes. Little liberal arts.
Chicago is more eclectic with lots of liberal arts/history and an amazing econ department (milton friednman anyone?)
And USC if you're ridiculously rich and just want to party for 4 years. its not ranked well or regarded well.

some things to consider: Stern's proximity to wall st. if you're into that and city life.

O yeah I should prob mention that I'm interested in Business.

I probably wouldn't really consider USC if I were you. Not for Business, at least. I'd say go for Stern (it's the best of the three in my opinion, and this is coming from someone who doesn't know too much about business but hears a lot about Stern), but if you really need the money Chicago isn't exactly a bad choice either.

The USC Marshall undergraduate business program is a top-20 school, ranked 9th by US News & 19th by Business Week. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_School_of_Business#Rankings

Business Week ranks Stern as 9th.

For the cost differential, I think you'd be crazy not to take USC.

I find it almost comical how students who think they are interested in "business" or economics can make blanket recommendations without looking at cost-benefit ratio. The differences between employment options after an education at a top-20 school vs. top-10 school is negligible.

How good are employment rates for students coming out of Marshall? I know there a "Trojan Family," but I also know that the grade curve pretty much kills GPAs
