Is playing a sport worth it?

So long story short, I am planning on transferring. Currently, I don’t play no sports but I am looking to start volleyball this year
at my current school then I will be transferring (Fall 2018). Now, when I transfer I do plan on playing this sport. Can I do this? As of now, I don’t know whether it would be intramural or intercollegiate. But I would like intramural to avoid try outs. But my question is would it be worth it to bend my back to find out try outs dates even though I am leaving the school? Would this even be allowed?

Thanks you in advance.

If you have never played volleyball before, there is no way you are making any school’s varsity team. So you would be looking to play intramural volleyball or club volleyball. If your school has an intramural volleyball league, you just enter a team with your friends and play other teams just for fun. The difficulty and competitiveness of the club volleyball team will vary depending on which school you go to. They might have try outs or they might not. But regardless, how difficult would it be to find out try out dates? You literally just ask someone…

I don’t really see what the issue is here. Playing volleyball at your current university or future school has no effect on you transferring since you aren’t a recruited athlete. Look to play volleyball at your current school whether it’s intramural or club, and then when you switch schools, do the same thing.
