Is PR 11 SATS accurate? semi urgent

How accurate are the SATs in PR's 11 New SATs book??

i heard they're great

I think that they're pretty accurate (in comparison to my PSAT scores this year).

bumppppppp i want more feedback

please anyone with experience?

I took half a test in it (The Verbal part) and it told me I was bad at Verbal, which I am. So... yes?

:)

its pretty good.

they're a little more difficult and have more questions in a shorter amount of time (especially critical reading) so practicing with them definitely builds up your endurance

Next best thing next to the blue book.

That's funny--all I've heard is that they are FAR EASIER than the real thing...strange...

i think they are good. i taught for PR in the past. however, a combo of the PR 11's and the College Board blue book is perfect for the SAT . I would personally FINISH both books before taking the SAT. You would be WELL-prepared for the exam if you could do both books. Nothing more would be necessary for preparation. You could do real well. just my own spin.

What mel5140 said. I just finished the CB's book and I'm in the middle of doing the PR one. I can tell you the PR one is definitely harder than the CB's one, in all aspects. The format is a bit off, though - last time I checked, for SAT math, you don't need to learn matrices or standard deviation.

The writing and critical reading are especially hard, though. Unlike the CB's book where there are usually clearcut choices, when doing the PR's tests, I find myself having to choose between two or three equally good answers.

There is one thing off about the format though - in the CB's book, the longer writing MC section is 35 questions. In the PR's book, it's 33 questions.

If you wonder why the PR book has formatting and content differences, just check the publication date. It came out 4 months before the new CB book, so they were really just guessing about the new test.

is blue book referring to CB book??

thanks,
