Like our school took psats on wednesday, and I think I passed tthe 220 cutoff, but what does all this really mean? Does it show up in college apps? And how can we be awarded scholarships (I think it was called national merit)? Like could someone explain the process of like quaterfinalist ....semifinalist ....and finalists and quilifications and stuff?

colleges don't see your PSAT score.

To get the national merit, you have to score higher than a certain score, which varies from state to state.

LIKE the psat really doesnt count for anything unless LIKE you do well, which LIKE i think based on your score predication you may have. After LIKE getting your PSAT score you LIKE take LIKE the real SAT and have to score equally well or even better to be LIKE nominated for like NMSF (which LIKE usually most people get after LIKE being nominated..unless you mess something up in LIKE your application).

and LIKE no, colleges don't LIKE see your PSAT score, unless LIKE your school lists it LIKE on their transcript.

----- as a side note:
sryy op lol, couldnt resist but...have to admit, even when i talk i excessively use "like" too.

I like totally doubt you passed the cutoff which is like 220 or something like that.

Like this is really funny guys, but like don't make fun of him it's like not even nice. Like you can get NMSF but colleges don't see the grade like yea..

Don't bet on passing 220... it's extremely difficult. Delusion is not a good substitute for a rational prediction. (Though it is far comforting... until you get your results that is)

This only applies if you are a JUNIOR. Once again, this only applies if you are a Junior.

Sophomores, Freshmen, 8th graders, super smart two year old English Girls (Whatever you may be) do not qualify for the National Merit Scholarships.
