i've taken only two SAT II's before, a 610 in bio & 710 in korean.

i've signed up for the SAT I's this week originally, but i'm switching them to SAT II's tomorrow by phone.
i'd really like to replace the crappy bio score with a higher one, so i'm signing up for lit & unsure about math II.
i'm pretty bad at math, but i'm not good at lit, so i was wondering -

would it be better to just study/cram for lit ONLY or for both math & lit so i have more scores to work with?

& yea, i was wondering if math IIC was required (not necessarily required, but they're looking for it / expect you to take it) because if it's not, i'd prefer not to take it.

Don't you have the December test date as well? You shouldn't hit yourself with three SAT IIs if you are not confident in your ability to take them successfully.

no subject is ever required. SAT IIs are for you to show them your stronger subjects so if math isn't one of them, then there is no pressure to take them. However, if your major is heavily involved in math, you should take the time to study for it.

:( unfortunately, i'm a senior and this is my last chance to take SAT II's since my last chance to get my SAT I score up is december, haha. LE SIGH.

math 2 is highly recommended if you are applying to engineering schools...otherwise, any two subject tests are fine as long as they are in different disciplines and not Math 1.
