Is SUNY Stony Brook University easy or hard to get accepted to?

<p>Im confused, my brother got accepted their in like 2003 with an 83 gpa and my sister with an 89. Some people say its hard to get accepted to but some people say its easier. Is stony brook making it seem harder to get accepted to than it really is, PLEASE HELP ME!!</p>
