Is taking online courses a bad thing?

I am going to be a senior next year and I just recently transferred schools. My new school did not accept marching band as an alternative to P.E. credit. I could not attend summer school because of transportation issues. Is taking online P.E. a bad thing? Is taking online classes in general bad because colleges might not like it? I have way more credits than an average senior should have and I cannot fit it into my schedule. I have taken many AP and honors classes and I am an A student. Does it matter that much?

^An online course shows that you have determination and a good work ethic.

However, online courses can be hard at times, so good luck!

I don’t think it would look bad because this is my schedule for next year:
Hour:
0: AP English
1: AP Chem
2: AP Government
3: Honors Physics
4: Calculus

Is that a good schedule? I am going to work after I get off from school.

^Is AP Calc or AP Physics available?

However, I think that is a question for the Rate My Schedule thread.

Also, did your school say you could take P.E online?

^My counselor did say that I could take my P.E. online. P.E will be the only online course I have taken. The schedule at the top is on campus. I am just worried about getting accepted into colleges with that one online course.

^Oh!

No reasonable college is going to penalize you for doing an online class. That would be incredibly silly!
