I got a 740 on my 1st try at the Sat 2 test with very little studying, and for the 2nd time in December I did 6 practice tests out of John Chung's review book (similar to Barron's, all of his tests are a lot harder than the actual test) and reviewed all 57 of his tips for it.

And I noticed that I got the exact same score today...740. Is it possible that collegeboard made an error in scoring and/or mistakenly put up the same score from last time? The 2nd attempt felt a lot easier (I know I had 6 blank and 1 wrong but that is still 790 at least) so im so confused why the score hasnt risen.

Also do you guys think I should retake it the 3rd time in the future, if the score really is 740?

I feel like there was an error too. I omitted three and only got 2 wrong (based on the discussion thread) and yet I only got 750. Dunno what’s up.

I omitted 8, looked through the Math II thread and didn’t see one that I got wrong (putting me in line for a 800 at very best)… I got a 630. I knew how to do every problem I bubbled. I’m going to wait until I get the detailed score report, and if it looks fishy like saying I missed 100% of a section then I’ll go for a rescore.
