The class is a joke as we finished the main topics with the first few months and from then on have been doing advanced probability and multivariate regressions (most of the time we do sudokus and play computer games), but is it worth even taking the test? I'm probably majoring in engineering, and I've looked at numerous colleges' websites such as Cornell and the test isn't even mentioned. What's the use of spending $82 when the test doesn't do anything for me? Also, will I have to take a stats course in college, and will this course contain redundant information?

I think more than likely it will contain redundant information.

engineering does require some statistics, even though mostly calculus. But it is always good to have stats down. And yes it is worth taking the test, might as well be able to transfer credits in case Cornell doesn't work out, who knows, Stats credit could be used in ur backup plan if u have one. I say you should take the exam.

stats credit does count at a lot of colleges...and from the way you're talking, I'm sure you'll get a 5---no harm in that!!!
