Is it worth it to get a bruinview membership after graduating to look for jobs?

I am no longer in the los angeles area, and am curious if there are jobs posted all over california, I'm looking for a job to build a career out of but last time I utilized it bruinview it seemed more of just for internships, and am curious if I should focus more on preparing for grad school, but at the same time I like to add some experience or move away from the grad school idea if i can build on the job

Also, does the network, if anyone has any experience with it like on linkedin or at the events, ever help you? Seems more of a you get your job and move on, but do those connections last and help in the far way future?

I got my first job on bruinview, and got several, really good interviews. When i was looking for jobs on bruinview, i probably averaged one interview a week. (more than that if you include skype/phone interviews.) I averaged this with a poorly written resume, and cover letters that sometimes had errors in them. Not too bad if i say so.

While my job isn’t perfect, it does have many perks. Among these include working on the west side, having set weekly hours, having all day street parking (no street sweeping,) not having to work holidays, and working with a bunch of generally cool people. There’s also a lot of space for growth within the company that i’m working for. Ultimately, i’d say that it’s a good first job out of college.

Bruinview’s only like $30 for 6 months, which is more than enough time to find a job. And yes, it does include jobs from all over California. I’d say it’s worth it and i’ll probably get it again when mine expires.
