is the December ACT too late?

I am currently a senior and I have taken the June and September ACT. I got the same composite score both times (29).

I've already submitted my applications to six colleges and I've been accepted into one of them.

Most of the colleges I applied to will start mailing letters out in November.. early December. Therefore, my score from December ACT will probably not affect if I get accepted or not. I want my act score to be 30+ to be considered for Honors Colleges and scholarships.

(I don't want to take the October ACT, because I would only have little preparation and I would need to pay the late fee (eeks, $21 extra))

Should I take December? Will it be too late?

depends on the college, im pretty sure most will accept that at the very latest.

scores for scholarships are usually due early. ones we are looking at, the last test scores they will accept for scholarships are ACT - october and SAT - november.
