CC,
Do some schools still mail out FedEx packages?

Andover did last cycle.
What a fast reply!!!
Did you call March 9th to see if there were any packages coming to you, @AppleNotFar?
I was signed up for notices but there was no notice. There is some speculation that Andover was able to send without triggering notices, but there was also a storm in those parts which may have interrupted the normal course of business.
@Personof2017…Scroll through, they discuss this…
Middlesex and Hotchkiss also send FedEx packages.
Yes Fedex is used for Andover. Also used are USPS priority mail and UPS next
Day.
Can you call and ask your local FedEx whether there is a package coming?
^^^What’s to stop you?
Feel free to call. If the local fedex has the service and can handle, then it’s part of their business cost. But, you risk getting depressed over a non admission decision one day in advamce than you are supposed to, and worse yet if you care enough you’d wonder if they have given you the accurate information and you end up having a even more restless night… Why not wait till the next day and let the process roll out as it should. Control the urge for instant gratification!
last year, I received my decisions online though (i live in cali)?? ps. i got waitlisted at Andover, Exeter, Groton, and SPS LOL (I had really low ssat scores, 4 b’s, bad application essays, and a mediocre interview and expected immediate rejections, why do u think i got waitlisted instead??)
^M10 packets are sent to admitted students only.
@Personof2017 - IDK- call me old- fashioned but I’m firmly in the you’ve waited this long… camp.
Good luck!
I actually get all of those notifications currently, and am thinking about turning them OFF before M10. Too much stress…
Does anyone know if they send them by email or post them on their admissions portal?
@Application30 depends on the school; see the link in post #4 above.
@AppleNotFar Ok, thanks.
