@glido , Walsh (the 555) has kitchens and they even remodeled some of them. In 2015 when my daughter moved into Walsh, they did a huge upgrade over the summer by installing new windows with AC! It was wonderful. And yes Arthur Avenue is nearby but it gets expensive after a while.

My daughter had a tapestry while living in Walsh and Conley so unless they changed the rules since she graduated last year, I don’t know. But I do remember during fire drills is when the RA’s would so room searches.

And as for the food, it did get a bit better with Aramark, but pricing went up, but the quality was still “meh” at best. I have to ask my daughter since she’s now a grad student and still eats occasionally at RH in the “caf” and I don’t know if she’s had a chance to check out LC’s offerings since she’s there late at night for her grad school classes.

@MomTheChauffer - great to hear about the huge upgrade! (I was an RA in Walsh back in the Paleolithic era.)

My twin daughters are on Rose Hill. They said the food in the cafeteria is actually pretty good. They really like the Urban Cafe and Cosi on campus which take meal swipes. Also- a brand new deli/grocery opened up underneath Queens Court dorm. It serves Boars head meats. They said it’s great.
