I have been told it's easier than the other tests given, is that true?

no the curve is usually much harder due to the nature of talented students/second timers in june.

What do you mean by the curve is harder?

My son did better in June in some subjects and went one point up in his composite. In the September one he went up two points from his June composite ( 3 from his first test). I do not know if it was the curve or the ease of the test or his ability. Just forget about all this. Prepare yourself well. You might gain-lose a couple of points with the curve but it is irrelevant if you prepare yourself well (bottom line: you cannot control the curve).

The curve is adjusted to the difficult of the test ahead of time, not depending on the students taking the test on that day. A test with easier question would have a tougher curve. In short, you are competing with all students taking ACT on different test days, not just those taking the same test on the same day.

Thanks for the help.
