Is the Online Schedule of Classes not updated??

So I'm trying to sign up for Math 1B, but Telebears isn't letting me because ALL the discussion sections are full, for both lectures.

But the online schedule clearly shows available seats in a lot of discussion sections. UCB Online Schedule of Classes: Search Results

Whats up with this?? And when will the 'currently not open' classes be opened??

Online schedule is updated at 7am in the morning Monday thru Saturday. Maybe the course has filled throughout the day and has not yet been updated.

what cheeks said. if you want to check CURRENT, up-to-the-minute status for a class, click on the link that is listed below each class/lecture/lab, entitled "Click here for current enrollment information and course restrictions"

yeh but i get what flutterfly is saying, the numbers don't add up
look at 170AC its in the same situation. 170AC is a little more obvious wit the numbers tho =)

under each lec/dis/lab's section information it says

Click here for current enrollment information and course restrictions

click there and you will get the exact information

Guardian Agnel, are you talking about EPS 170AC?

yes EPS 170AC
if u can solve that mystery u can solve the Bermuda Triangle
i know fully how to use the "current enrollment" link. FYI

Actually, I enrolled in that class when it was Phase I because there were only 4 discussions.

my bad i thought the last 1 was dis but it was lab instead... 8 x 4 = 32
but 36 enrolled.

It's both. The lecture and lab have 36 enrolled, but there are only 32 spots for discussion classes.

sigh thats weird =/ just gotta pray some spots open up.
what position on waitlist do u think i gotta have to get a shot at the class?

Guardiangel, you should call the Earth and Planetary Science department to find out if they are opening any more spots or if they're letting more people in the class. Also, you could email the professor about how many people from the waitlist is he going to get to enroll.

Hopefully, you get in.
