<p>Hi! So I want to know what everyone thinks about the PSAT. I'm not planning on taking the SAT (I'm going into my Junior year with 4 ACT tests under my belt) and the only date for this year happens to land on my birthday. I just wanted to know if there is a reason for me to take the test or if I would be able to skip it.</p>
<p>The PSAT is extremely important if you want to get National Merit!</p>
<p>definitely take the PSAT test. You really have nothing to lose (except the small payment fee).
Even if you don’t make a national merit semi-finalist score, you might at least be commended. But if you do become a semi-finalist for the national merit, that’ll add a good amount of glow to your application.</p>
