Is the SAT essay required to apply to Barrett?

Hello my son rising junior was signing up first his SAT this August and was not sure about taking the essay portion. Any info if the SAT essay is required. Solid GPA but not a great writer. TIA

Nothing about the essay here, which means that it is not required. Very few colleges require the SAT essay for admission.

If I may give some advice. Apply early. ASU admissions is rolling and the earlier he gets his Barrett application in, the better his chances (assuming he’s qualified).

Make sure he gets some help with the Barrett essay.

Thanks @STEM2017. He currently has a 3.93UW and a 4.53W with some decent EC. Hopefully he can do well on the SAT.
