Is the supplemental application necessary?

I'm applying to four colleges, three are SUNYs, SUNY Brockport, University of Buffalo, and SUNY Geneseo, all which I used the SUNY app for. Geneseo sent me a letter telling me to do a supplemental application on their website, but the questions are the same as what I filled out in the paper app, the parent letter our school already has us do, information my counselor has already sent and the essay I handed in to my counselor. Also, the supplemental application for Alfred University also seems unnecessary because I applied using the Alfred University application, and it also only has a check off spot for either the school of art and design or the school of ceramic engineering and material science, but I'm going to major in English. What do I do?

You do exactly what the school asks you to do, even if you feel as if you’re repeating yourself. I know nothing about the schools to which you applied (except Alfred) but if they’re expecting information to show your application complete (and thus read it and consider you), I’d simply give it to them.
